This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours total)

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective return to community activities. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers, upholding the organization's Mission Statement and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop treatment plans focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
• Ensure medical record documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and timely, and complies with state, federal, and clinic policies.
• Participate in student programs by providing a positive learning environment and appropriate supervision.
• Create an individualized professional development plan and pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing and adhere to ethical and professional codes of conduct.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing.
