Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Float

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with an every other weekend holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in various Med-Surg settings. The RN will need to be flexible and willing to float to multiple departments, including but not limited to Ortho, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. In addition, the position may require floating to our WestLakes Campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care.
• Float to various Med-Surg floors as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license is required.
• Experience in Med-Surg nursing is preferred.
• Must be willing to float to various units and locations as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
