Job Description

The Mother/Baby unit is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide care for new mothers and their infants. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Mother/Baby acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the health of mothers and newborns.
• Educate parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health.
• Perform typical procedures, including circumcisions.
• Assist in the transition period for new parents.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current experience in a Mother/Baby acute care hospital.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Lactation and transitions experience are preferred.
