Radiology Technologist - X-Ray & MRI

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts including weekends, afternoons, midnights, and holidays. Typical shifts include:

• Outpatient Center: 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Hospital: 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. and 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday shifts: 6:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Job Description

The Radiology Technologist will perform imaging procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety while adhering to protocols and standards. The technologist will utilize both X-Ray and MRI equipment, managing a consistent workflow in accordance with departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray and MRI scans for diverse patient populations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure functionality of imaging technology.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document and manage patient information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards, including wearing radiation badges.
• Assist in training new staff and travelers specific to departmental practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in MRI and X-Ray procedures is preferred.
