ICU/PCU/Tele Float Unit Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 × 12-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. This position requires every other weekend and holiday shifts, with floating to Hampden as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse for our ICU/PCU/Tele Float Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with healthcare protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Implement care plans and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Valid PA or Compact nursing license.
• Completion of fingerprinting is required prior to starting.
