Registered Nurse (RN) - NOC Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 × 12 hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN should be knowledgeable about the principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN will collaborate with the patient, patient's family, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in providing patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement patient care strategies in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Direct nursing support staff in patient care activities.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
