Respiratory Therapist - Nights

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will perform diagnostic tests, administer respiratory therapies, and educate patients and their families on disease management and therapeutic techniques. This position involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized patient care plans while maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies.
• Administer and monitor various forms of respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and breathing techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and sleep technologists to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in respiratory therapy to continuously improve patient care processes.

Schedule

This position is full-time and operates on a night shift schedule.
