Night position: 7 PM - 7 AM, working 7 days on and 7 days off.

Job Description

This role is located in a 16-bed ICU unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• Experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• Must be a Joint Commission Accredited agency for travel nurses.
