Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. This role supports the Radiologist and is involved in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, processing, and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality imaging services in the field of nuclear medicine.
• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required by the Radiologist.
• Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
• Maintain mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• At least one year of acute clinical radiology experience.
• A minimum of one year experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
