Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts with every other weekend required. First to float with up to 2 additional mandatory shifts per 6 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a dynamic Labor & Delivery unit, which includes 10 spacious private LDRP rooms, 2 antepartum rooms, and 1 operating room suite. We support around 50 births per month and have a strong commitment to skin-to-skin care. Nurses will work in a collaborative environment emphasizing teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Provide continuous support during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Perform C-section procedures as required, with circulation responsibilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize the OBIX EMR and MediTech systems for patient charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with strong IV skills.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
• FHM certification preferred.
• C-section experience required.
