This is a 9-week contract position with the possibility of extension.

Job Description

The Vascular OR RN will be responsible for independently performing endovascular procedures and providing exceptional patient care in a vascular operating room setting. The RN will collaborate with the surgical team and support the smooth operation of the vascular unit.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform endovascular cases without the assistance of the cath lab team.
• Administer medications and assess patient conditions pre- and post-procedure.
• Maintain sterile techniques in accordance with protocols for vascular procedures.
• Respond to codes and emergencies effectively and efficiently.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid NY RN license in hand.
• 2-3 years of vascular procedure experience is preferred.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting is essential.
• Previous charge experience is required.
