Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule with variable start times: 7, 9, 10, or 11 AM.

Job Description

The Ambulatory Surgery Nurse will provide nursing care in an outpatient surgery setting, assisting in various surgical procedures. The position requires a willingness to float between Petaluma and Santa Rosa locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and patient education.
• Assist with follow-up phone calls and pre-admission procedures.
• Manage patient throughput during surgical procedures.
• Maintain communication with interdisciplinary support services.
• Perform necessary nursing functions including obtaining EKGs and managing postoperative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of charge experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Valid California RN license required.
