Travel Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; 12-hour shifts with approximately 1 in 4 weekends and one overnight call shift per month.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Nurse to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at a Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in surgical nursing, exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures.
• Assist in robotic surgeries, including but not limited to Da Vinci Xi Robot surgeries.
• Handle a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams in high-pressure situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Level One Trauma center.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Competency in performing various surgical procedures including PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopy.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Proof of flu vaccination required.
