Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema. This role requires critical thinking and a focus on patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans based on their clinical needs.
• Utilize a variety of respiratory equipment including Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, CPAP, and BIPAP machines.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team and maintain active communication with physicians.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience required.
• Preferred: Trauma experience and previous Meditech experience.
