Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist in the NICU/PICU provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery systems. The role requires a strong focus on patient care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care and evaluation for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Utilize advanced equipment including High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, and continuous nebulizers.
• Provide coverage for adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, and CPT as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient treatments and case information in Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience is required.
• Current NICU/PICU experience is essential.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
