Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in a 240-bed facility specializing in respiratory therapy services. This role is instrumental in providing comprehensive respiratory care across various settings including the ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, and MED SURG. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing to patient care and enhanced therapeutic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies.
• Set up and manage ventilators.
• Assist in intubation and perform arterial blood gas (ABG) assessments.
• Provide education for patients and staff on respiratory care.
• Participate in ventilator liberation protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• CRT or NBRC credentials preferred.
• Prior Meditech experience and NICU/PICU experience are a plus.
