Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide care to patients undergoing various interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. The role demands expertise in advanced cardiac care, including the use of specialized equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in heart caths, interventions, pacemaker insertions, AICD, and EP ablations.
• Monitor and support patients throughout their procedures with a focus on safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team, including nurses and technicians, for optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize medical equipment such as IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, and ultrasound.
• Maintain accurate records using Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience with IABP and Impella devices, as well as interventional Cath and peripheral/coronary procedures.
• ACLS certification required.
• State RN license required.
