Nights, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, floating and call required.

Job Description

The Travel Med/Surg RN will provide general medical-surgical nursing duties, with occasional care for non-critical pediatric patients. The position includes working in an inpatient nursing unit with a patient ratio of 1:6. FINGERPRINTS for all travelers in New Mexico are required, and candidates must ensure that they have the necessary registration and compliance for this process.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities will include:

• Providing nursing care for medical-surgical patients.
• Administering medications and monitoring patient progress.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records using MedHost EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
