This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Flexibility in work hours may occur, and must be able to work Saturdays.

Job Description

The primary duties of this position involve performing evaluations and treatments as a Physical Therapist in various settings, including inpatient (25%) acute, ICU, SNF, and outpatient (75%). The role requires independence and thorough care approaches for all outpatient diagnoses and acute to SNF inpatient mobility progression, along with knowledge of discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions in acute care, ICU, Med/Surg, and outpatient settings.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Assist in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Hawaii Physical Therapist license required.
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
• Strong skills in evaluations and patient care planning.
