Labor and Delivery Nurse

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 36 hours per week, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates are guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. This role involves monitoring patient health, assisting with childbirth, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery processes.
• Monitor patient's vital signs and fetal heart rates.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document patient care activities accurately.
• Work collaboratively with obstetricians and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent practice in the last 12 months.
• Must possess valid life support certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM from approved vendors.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
