This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 5x8.0 - 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Thursday; 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday.

Job Description

The Pelvic Health Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include the delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs for effective return to community activities. The Therapist will also serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients comprehensively and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Maintain clear, concise, accurate, and timely documentation of patient care, including documentation required for compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student mentorship programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure in good standing with completion of state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Adhere to ethical standards and professional conduct as per discipline-specific codes.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback for maximized service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
