Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a Level I trauma center. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Document patient care and surgical procedures in Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in an operating room setting, preferably with skills in Hearts, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, GYN, and Robotics (DaVinci and Mako).
