Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Tech is responsible for performing various procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area, along with the ability to provide high-quality patient care during invasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures in a sterile environment.
• Assisting the physician during catheterization and other invasive procedures.
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and feedback during procedures.
• Preparing equipment and ensuring the readiness of the catheterization lab.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or related specialty.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Registered Certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred.
