Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Inpatient Rehabilitation will provide individualized and seamless care to adult and geriatric patients. The role focuses on rehabilitation support for patients recovering from various conditions, including neuro, trauma, and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administration of medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families.
• Documentation of patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Iowa.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) required.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug test and background checks.
• Titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB must be current (within last 12 months).
