Location

Nights: 16 hours from 3 PM to 7 AM
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents. Responsibilities include observing and reporting on residents' well-being, administering medications and treatments, and supervising LNA staff. The role requires effective communication with the healthcare team, residents, and families, as well as adherence to facility and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Observe residents and report changes in their condition to the Supervisor.
- Accurately transcribe and carry out physician's orders.
- Administer medications and document using a computerized system.
- Supervise and assist LNAs in accordance with licensing requirements.
- Accompany physicians on resident rounds to address medical needs.
- Administer oxygen and feeding procedures per facility guidelines.
- Perform wound care and maintain infection control practices.
- Communicate with families regarding resident care and issues.
- Ensure compliance with controlled medication regulations.
- Participate in the orientation of new nursing staff and evaluate performance.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 3+ years of current nursing experience (within the last 6 months).
- IV certification required (must be willing to obtain if not certified).
- COVID-19 vaccination required; declinations/exemptions not accepted.
- Active New Hampshire nursing license required at the time of submission.
