Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8 hour night shift, from 22:45 to 07:15. On-call duty with a 30-minute response time required, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care, including the management of nursing interventions and patient assessments in a dynamic clinical environment. Responsibilities will involve potential care for COVID patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support during surgical procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate medical records using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Respond to calls for assistance as required, meeting the on-call requirements promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Must be able to work with patients of all age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Registered Nurse License with no license hits accepted; must be in good standing.
