CT Technologist - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is a 3x12-hour schedule, from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM. Weekend shifts are required on Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 AM to 08:30 PM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. Responsibilities include producing high-quality images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment. The technologist will also be responsible for patient preparation and education, administering contrast media, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of various body parts with and without contrast.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate staff.
• Review and evaluate images for accuracy and quality.
• Follow radiation safety standards and protocols.
• Document patient care and relevant information accurately in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (ARRT CT, ARRT R).
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge and skills in advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
