Registered Nurse - Med/Tele Unit

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Days - 12HR shift: 7A-7P every Sunday to Tuesday block. 36 hours available per week. Candidates must work at least 1 holiday per contract and are expected to work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Tele Unit. The unit features 40 beds, and the chosen candidate will provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population. The role requires flexibility according to the facility's scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a fast-paced Med/Tele environment.
• Assist with medication administration and vital assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for holistic patient management.
• Participate actively in patient education and support initiatives.
• Float to other units as required, and take on charge nurse duties if necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med/surg/tele.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
