Occupational Therapist - Travel Position

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a travel position in a small community hospital. The ideal candidate will work with generalized populations and diagnoses, providing comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation services to patients of various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions to support functional independence.
• Provide patient and family education on rehabilitation techniques.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to work with acute and chronic disorders.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
