Certified Surgical Technologist - Cardiovascular Surgery

Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with experience in cardiovascular surgery for a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills to circulate and scrub in a variety of cases, including vascular/hybrid operations. Experience with Cerner and PowerChart charting systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of surgical procedures, specifically in cardiovascular and vascular cases.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide assistance during surgery.
• Participate actively in daily surgical procedures and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
• Be available for on-call and weekend shifts as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the operating room.
• Valid New Jersey or Compact State License required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with circulation in cardiovascular, thoracic, gyn, and general surgeries preferred.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
