This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Varied shift scheduling of 8-hour shifts: Days 0730 - 1530, Evenings 1500 - 2330, and Nights 2300 - 0730. Including weekends, holidays, and overtime rotation may be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Long Term Care Facility on-site at a hospital. The ideal candidate will be performing assessments, treatments, and medication administration, as well as notifying physicians or nurse practitioners of pertinent information. Responsibilities include admitting and discharging patients, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), managing gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vacuum care, CPAP care, and other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Notify medical staff of any changes in patient conditions.
• Assist with admissions and discharges of patients.
• Provide support for activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Manage specialized care protocols, including gastrostomy and catheter care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii by the start of the assignment.
• Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
