Schedule

Day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, including three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the breathtaking state of Vermont, at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care within a dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process for critical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic care, ensuring the physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs of patients are met.
• Accountable to the Unit Director, collaborating closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Lead and guide fellow healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience; experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification must be obtained prior to start.
