X-Ray Tech - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. On-call is required for three shifts per month, but weekends are not mandatory.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring the highest quality of patient care. The technician will utilize their skills in various imaging techniques and uphold safety standards throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray procedures for a variety of areas, including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and extremities.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation of patient procedures and outcomes.
• Assist with the preparation and administration of contrast media as needed.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions.
• Evaluate X-ray images for diagnostic quality, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
• Provide exceptional patient care and address concerns effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess ARRT Certification and current BLS certification.
• Fluoroscopy permit is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• State licensure for Oregon is required.
