Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET Tech

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts, primarily during the day from 08:00 to 18:30, with variable start times between 07:00 and 09:00. Rotating weekend shifts will be required.

Job Description

We are seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist/PET Tech with experience in PET and knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures. The successful candidate will primarily work in PET but may float to Nuclear Medicine as needed. Candidates should have strong Siemens equipment experience and familiarity with EPIC charting.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET scans and other nuclear medicine studies.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and manage patient care during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure quality control of imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties and weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine, with at least 6 months of PET experience.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification with a valid California license is required.
• BLS certification.
• Strong preference for Siemens equipment experience.
• Must be open to floating and taking on-call shifts based on unit needs.
