Radiologic Technologist - Evening Shift

Job Description

This position accurately applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, performing a variety of technical procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing accurate application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
• Position patients and equipment appropriately to demonstrate the area being examined, employing extensive anatomic positioning skills.
• Provide appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff during exposure according to prescribed safety standards.
• Adjust technical factors for appropriate exposure using independent judgment, knowledge of human anatomy, and principles of radiation.

Schedule

This position requires availability for the evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a 40-hour weekly guarantee.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience in a hospital setting, including ER, inpatient, fluoroscopy, and OR.
• Current skills checklist relevant to Radiology Tech, updated within the last year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active ARRT certification.
