Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Behavioral Health to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in acute behavioral health settings and skilled in crisis stabilization techniques. You will be an integral part of a team delivering high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Utilize verbal de-escalation and emergency physical intervention skills.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Float between adult and geriatric behavioral health units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience in an acute behavioral health setting.
• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, Handle With Care.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system.
