Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Center

Schedule

12-hour day shifts, 645 AM to 700 PM, with a 12x3 schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 65-chair Outpatient Infusion Center that provides intravenous treatments to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on patient care and demonstrated experience in oncology nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications to oncology patients.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and manage any adverse reactions.
• Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records using Cerner.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in oncology.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Chemo Certification required.
• Experience with Bone Marrow Transport is highly desirable.
