Shift: Mids, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Call and floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to handle patient care in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. The role requires an ability to float to related units including endoscopy, pre-operative, and surgery centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients' vitals and administer medications as needed.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support readiness for discharge by conducting thorough assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Prior PACU and ICU experience is mandatory.
• Ability to work on-call during the fourth weekend and one night a week.
