Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift position in a rehabilitation and nursing setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, particularly for residents with dementia, and may require floating to different units as needed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with patients with various levels of cognitive impairment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to residents.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift position that requires working every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) settings.
• Current BLS Certification through the AHA.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
