Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Postpartum Care

Schedule

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

36 hours scheduled / 24 hours guaranteed. Banner is allowed to cancel 1 shift.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care for patients in the Med/Surg/Postpartum care setting. Responsibilities will include monitoring patients, administering medication, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong assessment skills and experience with postpartum care are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to postpartum patients and their families.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocol.
• Document patient care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months Med/Surg experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
