Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of complex patient needs and the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions using advanced assessment skills.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide life-support procedures and interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred certifications include CCRN and NIHSS.
