Flexible schedule with 40 hours per week and 1-2 evenings until 7 PM.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. The therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that support an effective return to community activities and serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves, while demonstrating consistent adherence to safety protocols and organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop appropriate treatment plans and goals to progress patients towards discharge.
• Ensure timely and accurate medical record documentation in compliance with guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Engage in professional development by pursuing continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for practicing physical therapy.
