Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Working a night shift with 3 × 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. Call and weekend shifts will be rotating among days, evenings, and nights.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, addressing complex medical needs including CVA, debility, and respiratory care. The role requires proficiency in administering breathing treatments, managing CPAP/BiPap, performing trach care, and handling chest tube set-up/care. The RN will also be responsible for caring for drains, feeding tubes, central lines, wound vacs, and providing inpatient rehabilitation, including peritoneal dialysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Manage complex medical devices and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in adult and geriatric nursing.
• Prior experience in inpatient settings is preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required with acceptance of medical/religious declinations.
