Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in need of cardiac and respiratory monitoring while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform assessments and recognize changes in patients' conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure (PA or Compact license required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or similar environment.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
• Ability to float to different units as needed and work every other weekend.
