Monday to Friday with rotating weekends preferred but flexible.

Job Description

As a Speech Therapist, you will assist in providing therapy for both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation patients. The facility is a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center, featuring a diverse population of patients. Responsibilities include conducting bedside swallow evaluations and performing video evaluations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for acute and rehabilitation patients.
• Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and video swallow studies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions using the Meditech documentation system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure in the state of Missouri as a Speech Therapist.
• Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
