This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:00). Every 3rd weekend required. First to float between AC and Mainland Campus is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide care for Adult and NICU patients. The therapist will be expected to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, handling various cases and patient needs. Familiarity with high-end respiratory equipment and Cerner charting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records using Cerner charting.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in New Jersey required at the time of submission.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Pediatric experience preferred; must be willing to work on Pediatric floor on a rotational basis.
• Experience with equipment such as Servo I, Servo U, Trilogy, Oscillator, V60, and Vapotherm is strongly preferred.
