ICU Registered Nurse - Contract Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Must be flexible for day or night shifts, determined per roster period based on staffing needs. Standard shifts are 3 twelve-hour shifts (36 hours per week) following the first week of orientation, including 2 twelve-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the critical care environment. The candidate should be prepared to float to other critical care and step-down units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience.
• Active State of Hawaii RN license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification (submit certification or take an online 45-minute class as part of orientation).
