Inpatient Hold Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with an every other weekend rotation.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Inpatient Hold Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing quality patient care in an inpatient setting, with the ability to manage Emergency Department (ED) patients as needed. This role requires a focus on patient safety, effective communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' health status and medical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health management and available resources.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
• Ability to handle diverse patient acuities, including ED cases.
