Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed. Note that there may be cancellations at the discretion of the facility.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including triage, labor support, and postpartum/couplet care. The ideal candidate must have significant experience in the specified areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and assess patients in the labor and delivery process.
• Provide labor support and assist in deliveries.
• Offer postpartum care and education to new mothers.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of labor and delivery experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), AFM.
• Valid RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
