X-Ray and CT Technologist

Night Shift: 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The position requires a combined skill set in X-Ray and CT technology. Candidates must have experience in adult acute care and emergency department settings. Responsibilities include performing basic x-ray exams such as Chest, Abdomen, and Extremities, along with routine CT exams including Head, Chest, Abd/Pel, and complex studies like CTA's of the Head/Carotid and PE studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X-Ray and CT imaging procedures on various patient demographics.
• Administer and prepare contrast media as required.
• Float across departments as needed to support patient care.
• Utilize portable X-Ray equipment for patient imaging.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray and CT Technologist.
• ARRT R, BLS, and a valid NY State License required.
• ARRT Advanced Certification preferred.
• IV certification required within NY license.
